JoYo San Diego Guide

Beautiful beaches, amazing hiking trails covered in succulents, and bountiful brunches, San Diego is where I am going to retire. Plus, the fish tacos are the most awesome here. This where you’re going to get the rest and relaxation you need and deserve. Be aware that San Diego is very sprawl so you will need a car to get around, especially to the beaches. WHERE TO STAY

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Del Mar (3-star hotel) and it was amazing. Granted it was an inn but the cleanliness was great, service and amenities were amazing, and the staff was super. I couldn’t ask for more. I loved the tiny but clean and empty 24hr gym. And the special touch they did on my birthday. If I go to San Diego again, I’ll be staying at this hotel that gives free snacks in the afternoons and early evenings. Great location as well with complimentary wi-fi and parking. Just check out how good their ranking is on Tripadvisor; the certificate of excellence is well-deserved!

TRANSPORTATION

You’ll need to rent a car to get anywhere around San Diego – it’s very sprawl. Parking is difficult for nightlife in downtown but besides that, you should be able to find parking.
