Where to Buy Furniture Online and In-Store

There are so many places on the internet and in-person to buy furniture. Here’s a list of tips and places.

Shopping Tips

Tip 1: Always look up online for coupon codes. If you sign up for mailing lists, you should be able to get some discounts and coupons. If you just move into a new place, you may get moving coupons from furniture companies (Wayfair, AllModern, Bed Bath & Beyond, Room & Board all had coupons in the mail when I bought my condo).

Tip 2: Use Ebates! If you’re not on Ebates, you SHOULD be! It’s free money (over the years, I’ve already racked $80 cash back) and I signed my sister and coworker up already – they love it. Some stores are like 1% back but hey, money is money. It just goes straight to my PayPal account monthly (the 1%). Sign up for Ebates here via my referral link to get $10 for free

Tip 3: Buy items that have tons of positive, good reviews. If you don’t, you risk buying a product that doesn’t meet expectations.

Tip 4: Always check the return and exchange policy on the item you want to purchase.

Tip 5: Only buy things that you know you will love and cherish. This means avoiding impulse buying and unnecessary items. Put the item in your cart and let it sit there for a couple days and if you still want it in a couple of days, then may not be such an impulse buy (still could be).

  1. To your point on searching online for coupon code, I would recommend a Chrome plugin called Honey. After installation, it will automatically search for online coupon code at checkout page. Give it a try. I’ve saved some bucks thanks to Honey.
