Weekend Trip to Sedona, Arizona

My friend and I were in Scottsdale, Arizona because we wanted to go to Grand Canyon but we got so lazy to drive we didn’t get there. Instead, we ended up hiking around Sedona, Arizona. The red rocks were beautiful.

What to Do

Red Rock State Park

This state park is wonderful for great views, easy hikes, and overall beauty. Some hikes include climbing up some rocks to get better views.

Night Sky Watching

We didn’t get a chance to do this but the desert is one of the best places to see the night sky and all the stars. Definitely book a tour ahead of time or plan before you go! The view is award winning!

Where to Eat

Elote Cafe

This delicious place is quite spacious but also homey. You get treated to delightful Mexican food in a warm ambience. Make a reservation if you wish but we just dropped by and had a short wait.

Where to Stay

W Scottsdale

The glass bottom rooftop pool at the W Scottsdale

When your taxi or you drive into the driveway, you look above up and you see people swimming in the glass bottom pool. My taxi driver told me every time he picks up models from the airport, they stay at the W. It’s no surprise, this posh, upscale, but not too expensive hotel is for the young and classy w/ a mad sense of party. Pool parties all the time and really close the nightlife, this hotel is great. Smells fantastic.
